I'm an extremely low GPA applicant and non-traditional applicant (late 20s, working in healthcare). I really, really hope that they view my experiences/statements/LORs/grad GPA above how I did when I was eighteen. I’ve been so burnt by emails that look like this but are actually rejections that I immediately went into a panic opening the email. This school is one of my only options with my GPA and I really love all that I’ve heard about their structure and support, so I’m so psyched at the opportunity. Also happy that they gave us a timeline! At least we can relax a tiny bit about hearing back from them about interviews until late August. I think they prefer people in-state and/or applicants who will stay in the region, but are open to anyone. At least that's the vibe I've heard so far. Either way, I'm also a fellow out-of-stater!
