Aunt Val Posted May 12, 2022 I highly doubt it. I suspect that anyone who submitted an application like that would have it automatically thrown out in favor of other applicants who have at least enough experience in healthcare to have seen what the PA profession is all about and know why they want to be PAs over some other medical profession. How would you even know if you like working in a hospital or clinic if you've never had that experience? Take the time to prepare well. Besides that, applicants shouldn't just be trying to squeak by with the bare minimum they think they need to get into school. PA school is hard and it takes a big commitment. You won't do well if "bare minimum" is your philosophy. Quote
TheFatMan Posted May 18, 2022 (edited) More importantly, what healthcare experience do you have that A) is sufficient for you to know that you will at least tolerate working in the field, and B) will help you get through school/make you a better healthcare provider. iconic Posted May 19, 2022 I had 2 classmates who did direct entry with undergrad with no healthcare experience. Quote
