mjharniss
My name is Mahlia, this is my 3rd time applying to UW and first time being invited to interview. I would love to get to know some of my future peers and fellow interviewees through this forum. I was also wondering what the interview experience was like for those who interviewed last year via zoom. Was a same small group interview style used? Looking forward to hearing from you all. alvll
Hi Mahlia, Congrats on getting invited to interview! I interviewed in October of this year. It started with an introduction with the whole group and then broke out into separate small groups. Each group was three applicants and two interviewees. My groups were good at directing questions to each applicant, so we all had time to respond and chat. Then, we would break out into the whole large group again. We had a lunch break, and there was a Q&A with two or three current students. We had a closing session and that was it! I think it went from like 8 AM to 1 or 2 PM with a lunch break. It was much less stressful than I anticipated. It was nice getting to meet the faculty and other prospective students and hear about all of the different experience we've had. I was really impressed with all of the applicants' strong background in different aspects of patient care. good luck!
