thispalovesortho
Hi ya'll! I've been a PA for 6 years, 2 in children's ortho and spine, 1.5 in urgent care and 3 years in neurosurgery, and I'll looking to switch back to urgent care. I feel like this offer is low, so I'm hoping I can have someone's input! It's for a urgent care in Tampa, Florida. 100k/year 3 shifts a week (13 a month, 156 a year) 7:45 AM - 8 PM No PTO 401k at 3% after 1 year includes medical and vision insurance, malpractice and tail coverage 1000/yr for cme. This includes licenses (DEA, state), BLS, ACLS, PALS, cert and DOT. 53.41/hr for additional shifts 15 mile noncompete for 12 months Thank you in advance!! Moderator EMEDPA Posted May 5, 2021 Moderator Share Posted May 5, 2021 yes, very low. New grads are getting 55-65/hr for UC in the pacific NW. cme is low for full time. should be 2000+ how about professional dues: nccpa, state license, dea, acls, pals, cpr, etc? Those should all be covered.

Pac30
That 53.41 for extra shifts is your straight hourly rate. You aren't getting any bonus for any extra work you do. Hard pass.
