suzpa
This is probably a stupid question but I will ask anyway. If a program's deadline is showing as 8/1/2012 on CASPA..and I know CASPA takes weeks and weeks to process...is there any point in submitting my application now? Or is that deadline factoring the time it will take CASPA to process? Thanks.
d3t3rm1n3d
Contact the school. Some schools' websites say "materials must be submitted to CASPA by..." but more commonly, the deadline that is listed is the date that the school needs your stuff in their hands. cinntsp
A school with rolling admissions can have its class filled by the time the deadline hits.
sartort
If you click on the school you are applying to it defines "Deadline" on CASPA's website for that particular program.
Guest
It factors in the time it takes to process the application, but I have to be honest with you: I didn't get any interviews from schools whose deadline was very close to when I submitted my application.
