I also looked for this program's forum and didn't find any. When did you submit?

I haven't found a thread for this year's application cycle; have any current students heard anything re: interviews, COVID delays, etc?

Until they make an official school page for Pfeiffer, just start a new thread on the New Programs page, for this cycle. COVID-19 has been...interesting. The faculty are being very cautious. We moved to all-online mid-semester 1, but then to hybrid-online for semester 2 due to a Physical Examination class that required being physically present. Then when NC Governor Cooper announced that NC was entering Phase II for COVID-19, we moved back into the classroom full time with mandatory distancing and masks. As the cases across the state and in Charlotte have soared upward, we are about to move back to hybrid-online classes (all-online except the components that really need to be done in-person). That will continue through the end of Semester 2. Semester 3 the program hopes to be able to move into the newly constructed Health Sciences Building in Albemarle, and we will be the only program there for a while, so hopefully we will move back to in-person classes there with standard precautions. It has been weird! But the faculty are playing it smart, and doing everything they can to ensure we get the most seamless education possible.

As far as I have heard from the adcom, applications are rolling in. Go ahead and apply and assume that if accepted, classes will be unlike anything you've been through before - first of all it's PA school, and secondly it's a freakin pandemic. But the hybrid education is a better option than straight up all-online, which most programs at larger Universities have been forced to move to. Good luck, let us know if you have any other questions.
