Arthropathy
Going to acceot this offer but wondering what y'all think. Salary: ~125-130k Vacation: 22 days + 11 holidays Health ins: ~$500/month for family Malpractice: covered claims made with tail 401k with 6% match CME: $1500/1 week Call: 1/12, phone only, no additional compensation, which is no negotiable, I'm fine with Bonus: up to $3k based on pretty attainable quality of care metrics Honestly I think it's a solid offer. Will counter for $135 salary.

Arthropathy
I'm guessing the low response rate means this package is on point. Any suggestions for a counter offer?
ChompPaChewyChomp
Sounds solid. CME is below average but thats the least important aspect IMO. I would counter for $135 as well. Are you in the OR at all?
Arthropathy
Sounds like 1-2 days per week. Some admin time added into schedule as well. Thanks for the input

Bonus is annual, and not a ton, but it's a set amount based on attainable goals not production... Which I like. Probably 18-20 patients a day

Did you end up countering and/or accepting?
Arthropathy
I asked for 135k salary and they wouldn't budge. I took the job. Overall package is miles above my currant gig.
bovineplane
Offer is solid. Friend of mine is looking for $135k and having trouble. He is willing to forgo insurance and still having tough time getting to his number. He wasn't offered the benefit PTO package you were either. Two years in Ortho, looking in the coastal Florida area. Congrats on the new job. Enjoy!
