Expired pre-reqs

For those who had to retake classes due to "expiration date such as not taking the class within ten years, how many did you have to retake for PA school? What did you have to repeat?

This will vary from school to school. You will have to repeat whichever pre-reqs are “expired” for the school which you are applying. Some schools allowed older prerequisites than others. Some classes that you may need to retake include A&P, gen chem, gen bio, organic chem, etc. I have prerequisites over 10 years old, and I did not retake any because I only applied to schools that did not have a time limit on prerequisites. Hope this helps!

I applied to 8 schools that had no expiration on prereqs so I didn't retake any of them.

I retook 3: gen chem, psychology, and stats: they were among the last classes I took.

I have had to retake a psych class and I am about to retake a AP1 class from 10 years ago (originally got a B). Although I am bummed that I have to retake it, I know it'll help me once I get into PA school.

I am retaking anatomy and physiology, and a psych class next semester. To say it sucks to retake classes I passed with As, is an understatement!
