I was wondering if anyone could give me ideas of the types of community outreach activities they participate in as a PA. I have friends who have participated in free skin screenings, volunteered at free clinics, and gone on mission trips. What other types of opportunities are there for PA's to give back to their communities? Are there certain specialties that seem to provide more opportunities than others? Thank you! Boatswain2PA Posted May 13, 2017 Share Posted May 13, 2017 I don't volunteer as a PA. Guess I just want that separation. I volunteered a lot with Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts when my kids were in scouts, and now I spend a LOT of my off-time as the president of a Saint Vincent de Paul conference, a non-profit organization that offers assistance to the poor.
