JD2012
So the cycle opens up in 3 days. I was wondering, one of the colleges I attended sends transcripts by mail only. Should I start processing the delivery of the transcript now so that the transcript would get there on the 27th or shortly after?
cop to pa
No, wait till you have your application number. It speeds up the process.
lanime
I believe there is even a statement in CASPA that says not to have any transcripts sent until the application opens and you have an ID number.
Disco Lafleur
Also, mail will be fast enough. I applied last year and had one transcript from a school that took several weeks to get nailed over. I was getting stressed as I thought it was putting me farther and farther behind, but it got in eventually and even a month or two after Caspa opened I was still in the earlier group of applicants. Just do everything you can as soon as you are able and it'll work out.
JD2012
Thanks for the advice and totally forgot about that application number when sending transcripts! I am doing everything I can that can be done, won't be taking the GRE until May 26th. My deadline to send out apps is 2nd week of July.
