Tips/advice for new PA student

Recommended Posts

You've got a month to go. If I were you, I'd get my affairs in order and relax. It's only a month and there is no point worrying or randomly studying. If you really want to, brush up on your anatomy and terminology. Everything will flow from that.

Good luck. As I am fond of saying, thousands of people have trod this path successfully. You can too. Just focus and don't panic!

If you aren't in the habit of studying daily, start that now.  You may need to be in your seat for six hours, and studying for four more, five days a week.  That takes some getting used to, even for folks who've just recently successfully completed undergraduate.  As far as what to study... there are some good recommendations above, but learning to study that much, that consistently is among the toughest parts of PA school.
