ella.j
Moving to another state after practicing in VA for a couple years. Would you ask for moving expenses to be paid? I have read some forum topics up to 1-3k were paid by some employers.
Administrator rev ronin Posted November 24, 2015 Administrator Share Posted November 24, 2015 You never get 100% of that for which you never ask.

primadonna22274
I have been granted moving expenses twice: once when moving from Oregon to SC to the tune of $11,000 (books and a piano, ouch) and again from SC to GA (up to 6k reimbursement contractually although I never moved there permanently so didn't claim it). Doesn't hurt to ask. Moving is very expensive and hospitals and clinics have funds to recruit good folks.
