optimistic3
My assumption would be that the first class or two would still have to work out a lot of kinks and therefore may not be the best programs to try. What do you think? I was ruling all of the schools with provisional status out but I realized I just applied to Penn State, which is provisional. It's first class would graduate when I would start so I wouldn't know any PANCE rates prior to starting (and yes, I know, big IF to getting in). marktheshark89
Penn State has a great program and experiences faculty so I wouldn't worry about them. That being said its true that the first 1-2 years of a program you never know what you'll get. Look at what happened to Bridgeport as an example. They have turned things around but it was a rough first year.
Disciple3
Depends on the program really, I interviewed at penn state and quite honestly couldnt think of a better place to go.
UGoLong
I was in the third class in a new program, with the first class graduating during my first semester. It went great! They had to make adjustments here and there as we went forward, but that was fine: at least they reacted well when problems came up. The big discriminator for a new program is the faculty, their experience, and personalities.
