I was looking for advice on when I should start applying for jobs. Since I'm anticipating not being able to start until March (February at the earliest) due to taking the PANCE and then waiting for licensure I was wondering if it's worth it to start now or wait until December? I would start 4-5 months before graduation. Unless I thought licensing was going to be delayed because of move or delayed pance taking. Then again some states allow temporary license. OneYearIn Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 I recommend looking in the sense of networking and actually talking to people/places where you might want to work, but keep in mind that many large hospital systems where you apply online will never call back until you're certified and licensed, at least in my experience a year ago.
