dm123
My background is in ER and Urgent Care. I can do basic peds but definitely not my favorite. Great to be a PA with back-up:wink: There is a Family Practice option and a Adult Medicine option. For those who have taken the PANRE exam recently would you mine relating about how much peds was on each and state which exam you took? Approximate percent would do. Moderator EMEDPA Posted May 16, 2011 Moderator Share Posted May 16, 2011 if you work er/uc take the primary care version, do not take the adult medicine exam. most of what you do everyday is on the primary care version. the adult medicine version is really for folks who work inpt/outpt IM, do no procedures and work entirely with adults. marilynpac
I took the primary care panre and there wasn't very indepth questions when it came to peds. Most were common sense questions that any PA working FP, UC would/should know.
rookiejay
Thanks for the responses. I am in FP but I see 16 and up. I will choose the primary care option.
