dimitjm1 Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Hi all, I am a relatively new PA (one year out) and am having an undergrad student shadow me for the first time this week. Do you count shadowing toward your Category II CME or do you only count precepting? I am trying to provide her (the student) with a good interactive experience, so I am teaching during this time. Moderator ventana Posted May 2, 2011 Moderator Share Posted May 2, 2011 Cat 2 is simply self reported learning - no real requirements I always get all the medical journals and read them each month - probabaly about 2+ hours per week I just put in the required # each year - went through an audit and they were fine with this.....
