cinntsp
I'm finishing up my fellowship in October and am starting to decide whether I'll be staying in the area or moving, so I want to begin examining my options. I've come across job ads that I'd like to pursue, but don't know if being 5 months away is too soon to begin applying even if credentialing can take a couple of months. I wouldn't want to miss out on a good opportunity. I tried searching for similar threads but anything with "apply" in it will of course bring up 1,000 threads about school applications. Thoughts? acozadd
I didn't attend a fellowship, but I started applying for jobs shortly after starting clinicals as a student. I had my job lined up >7 months prior to my start date. IMO it's never to early to start applying.
Administrator rev ronin Posted May 20, 2015 Administrator Share Posted May 20, 2015 Six months seems reasonable to me. I had my first job lined up 3 months before PA school graduation, after a month or two of exploring.
cinntsp
Good to hear. I'll start chatting up some of these recruiters then. Thanks!
