Oakland132
Anyone know if there is a monthly special pay for Navy PAs? Reading through the instruction is like reading stereo instructions.
cop to pa
Incentive Pay (IP) is monthly. For PAs it was $5,000 spread over 12 months (or about $417 a month) for FY

I believe the last time I checked it was like $15,000 per for a four or five year commitment..
Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted May 3, 2015 Moderator Share Posted May 3, 2015 Believe so, but I don't get it. Can't get that until you complete your ADSO (service obligation)

MrsRonSwanson
Anyone know about BCP for th Army? I've only been able to find the information for physicians.
cop to pa
BCP is $2000 with less than 10 years of service for AD. $15000 a year for a 4 year new accession bonus for AD. $60000 over three years for reserves. From the FY 2015 army medical department recruiting program guide.
Sapper-PA
Certification pay is lumped with your IP bonus now, it's not calculated by years of service any more so it's flat $6,000/ year for a total of $11,000 paid montly at $966/ month.
kaycait7
I am hoping for a spot in Navy with the hscp. What is the approximate salary for a PA graduate starting out like? Also, does anyone know if you get additional funding with hscp if you are married?
Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted September 15, 2015 Moderator Share Posted September 15, 2015 I am hoping for a spot in Navy with the hscp. What is the approximate salary for a PA graduate starting out like? Also, does anyone know if you get additional funding with hscp if you are married?[/quote You will start out with a base pay of 3850 per month + whatever percentage increase we get in subsequent years as a O2 with 2 years service when you graduate with hscp. Board certified pay and Special pay comes to 916 per month. BAh is variable by location with a calculator online and bas is set, but you can find it online. Bas is more for enlisted than for officers. For an estimation, I get relatively lower BAH at 1280 and make 5200 per month after taxes at the single rate. I do have dependents though. The HSCP pay rate is at a E6. You do get more BAH on HSCP when you have dependents, as you'll see when you google bah calculator, since you are employed by the Navy during school with all the same benefits.
