had1118
Forgive me if this is in FAQ/Instructions but I read through each tab and did not see this. Does CASPA follow the traditional hours taken guidelines when determining freshman, sophomore, junior, senior status? Should I enter my course work as follows: 29 hours or less-Freshman 30-59 hours-Sophomore 60-89 hours-Junior 90-beyond-Senior Thanks!
Z PA-C
I don't know if they changed anything but when I did caspa for the 13-14 cycle. Freshman was 1st academic yr (fall thru summer), sophomore was 2nd academic year, junior 3rd and senior everything after that

lanime
From the CASPA website: FRESHMAN-SENIOR: All college level courses taken prior to your first bachelor’s degree. CASPA does not monitor credit levels in regards to freshman-senior designations. In general, four year students list one year per designation and five-year students list their last two years as senior. Non-traditional students label their terms as evenly as possible, but should remain in chronological order (i.e. do not report yourself as a junior in 1999 and as a freshman in 2000). Hope this helps!
