wesr_gordon
One school requires an autobiographical essay as a part of their supplemental. They explicitly state this is not a personal statement or a statement of why you are applying to PA school. So I'm afraid to ask: what angle are they going for here? DiggySRNA
Never heard of that. I'd like to know also.
UGoLong
I would suspect that you should write a brief story of your life. While it is not a focused essay on why you want to be a PA, it does provide an opportunity to cover that subject tangentially, as well as jobs you've had. Try this: Answer the question: in 500 words, who are you and how did you get to where you are today? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
fakingpatience
ugolong, that still sounds an awful lot like what I (and many essays I've seen) have written in the personal statement
UGoLong
It is like many essays, other than it describes your life to date as well. I pretty much wrote like that when it was my turn. I think that a difference with some essays is that it doesn't cover the x reasons why you want to be a PA and instead gives the adcom some background as to who you are.
