bobsquit3
Anyone out there, especially the CO PAs, familiar with this or know anyone who has completed it? Seems like a pretty good program for transition from student to provider, no matter what specialty one wants to do after. http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/medicalschool/departments/medicine/GIM/ClinicalCare/HospitalMedicine/EdOps/Pages/Advance%E2%80%8Bd-Practice-Fellowship-in-Hospital-Medicine.aspx
Guest Paula
Looks like a fabulous program with a decent salary and benefits while learning the skills of hospital medicine. I'm at the point in my view of the PA profession that every PA should think about applying for a fellowship or post-grad training or residency. We will need to continue to hone our skills and education to remain marketable and relevant.
Moderator ventana Posted March 1, 2014 Moderator Share Posted March 1, 2014 wow that is the model for the PA fellowship year doing that in surgery, ortho, ER, Geriatrics, IM, plastics, derm.......... looks like a winner!
Moderator EMEDPA Posted March 1, 2014 Moderator Share Posted March 1, 2014 looks very cool...I bet you could use electives to become a critical care stud or studette. 65 k for a 50 hr week m-f as a new grad to get trained like this is a no brainer.
