sakuraly26
Unergrad GPA 2.58 Post bac GPA 3.42 Graduate GPA from a biomedical science program is 3.08 Since most of the schools require a cumulative and science GPA to be above 3.0. Does anyone know which GPA will they look at or use as the minimum requirement? Even if I go back and take more undergrad classes to pull up my GPA, they will consider as a postbac instead undergrad. So how can i meet the requirement of 3.0?
Z PA-C
CASPA will factor post bac and graduate (excluding doctorate level) grades into your GPA. Keep in mind they don't honor grade replacements though. Check out their website for more details. https://portal.caspaonline.org/applicants2013/faq/gpas.htm
Ferraro
Some schools specifically state that they place a greater emphasis on the last X number of credits taken. It might be a good idea to take a look at those schools as well as to contact other schools you are interested in to see if they might have a similar policy. Administrator rev ronin Posted February 11, 2014 Administrator Share Posted February 11, 2014 There is really no such thing as postbac for CASPA purposes. Each credit is either graduate or undergrad, and gets averaged in to the respective GPA.
