amthrasher
Does anyone have access to this database? The director of my program has stated a few times that MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) salary data is more accurate than the self reported salary data from either Advance for PA and NP or the AAPA salary report. While this is probably true, access to the MGMA database is quite expensive (100s of dollars) and I will certainly not be purchasing it. Is there any way to access the MGMA information? Is there really much of a discrepancy between the salary reports from these different databases?
KMD16
Message for your director. That's BS! Maybe s/he's trying to low ball you. MGMA salary data is MD/DO specific. AAPA salary survey are very reliable + state chapter or region salary survey.
mostrike1
Our clinic uses the MGMA data, and our manager must purchase it. They show us a printout of the family practice with urgent care salary ranges/RVU ranges. It seems fairly accurate based on the numbers they show for us . I don't have access to it though. Gordon, PA-C
The only MGMA data I've seen are for MD/DO. Is there a separate MGMA data set for PAs? I've never heard of that so it must be a new addition.
