interview attire in cold weather

Recommended Posts

I actually like going to interviews in cold weather - you're not as sweaty and uncomfortable when you show up. Furthermore, I think my coat (I'm a male) actually adds to the "classy" look I go for when I go to interviews. Obviously wearing a brightly colored winter ski jacket might detract, but I often wear a nice, long high quality dress coat meant to be worn with suits. They make a similar style for women. It shows you're put together and looks good even if you wear it into the interview room (and take it off and hang it on a coat rack or the back of your chair).
