skyblue3
I am a female and will be interviewing when the weather is a little chilly (30s-50s). I will be wearing a skirt suit with pantyhose, but curious as to whether many PA schools offer places to leave your coat? Or should I just leave my coat behind in my car? winterallsummer
You can leave them at the admissions office at any school.
MedicalRN
I actually like going to interviews in cold weather - you're not as sweaty and uncomfortable when you show up. Furthermore, I think my coat (I'm a male) actually adds to the "classy" look I go for when I go to interviews. Obviously wearing a brightly colored winter ski jacket might detract, but I often wear a nice, long high quality dress coat meant to be worn with suits. They make a similar style for women. It shows you're put together and looks good even if you wear it into the interview room (and take it off and hang it on a coat rack or the back of your chair). UGoLong
Walk into an interview like it is a business trip (it is!). Assume there will be coat hangers, bathrooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. You are not parachuting into a war zone. Relax and breathe too! Good luck.
