I was recently accepted into a program for fall of 2020. BIOCHEM was not a prerequisite, but I have been currently retaking the class in case I had to re apply. My acceptance is conditional based on having an up to date physical and that is It (I already submitted the physical). My question is, is It worth finishing up this class strong? Or should I stop putting effort into the class and relax until my program starts? I’m not sure what to do & don’t want to waste time studying if I do not have to! Thanks !!
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has taken the home GRE yet and if so did you use a laptop computer? My camera can only stare at my face if I want to look at the screen properly and I have doubts this will be acceptable to the Procter.
Just trying to figure out if I register to take the at home GRE will I be wasting money because they can only view my face and not my surroundings. I appreciate the help. Thanks
I am a Pre-PA applying for the second time this cycle.
I took 3 science classes this spring to boost my gpa, which is what held me back last year. I'm worried it won't be enough, so I'm considering taking an online pathology course. I found that the University of Minnesota offers it. Has anyone taken this course from this institution? Did you take it else where? Is there another science online course you took in the summer?
There is a lot of information about average GPA for incoming students, however, there is little statistical data about PA students in their didactic year regarding GPA and grades. I realize that grades “don’t really matter” in the grand scheme of things, especially when it comes to jobs (from what I have researched). However, I would really like some input on what GPAs look like in didactic year compared to undergrad GPAs. I realize that every program is different, so this comparison can be hard to make. Is there anyone willing to share their GPA from undergrad and didactic year? Thanks!😀
