With regards to medicine, certainly there are things we need to memorize because time is on of the most crucial factors for patients. However, we almost always have access to information to help support our medical decision making.

Remember, we are not here to memorize facts out of a textbook. We are here to learn how to talk, empathize, and treat the sick. Sometimes listening and empathizing with the patient is better than spitting off medical facts to look good.

Do not worry about your difficulties in mathematics; I can assure you that mine are still greater - Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein did not fail at mathematics in school. In fact, he actually excelled at mathematics throughout his schooling and even considered becoming a mathematician for a time.
