sportygirl07
I'm thinking of taking English 102 at a community college but some PA schools require an English Composition class. So would they accept the ENG 102 credit? Does it look bad?
Moderator EMEDPA Posted July 21, 2013 Moderator Share Posted July 21, 2013 most do, some don't. call the programs you are interested in first.
MedicinePower
Like EMEDPA said, most do. Some (a very few) might not.
Just Steve
I certainly hope so. I would hate to get this far through PA school then be told that all my CC credits were no good. Is that school's english comp course the same as english 102?
winterallsummer
Half my degree was from CC and didn't affect any of the schools I applied to or got into. Also, I consider my CC education as being better than my undergrad education. Both my Englishes and many others were done at CC.
sportygirl07
yeah, English 102 at the community college is equivalent to English 102 at the university
TrevInTampa813
I took my A&P's at a CC and they were accepted everywhere i applied and, to be honest, the classes were much better than they were at the local university which offered A&P's on some Bullcrap online course where everyone cheater or whatever. I actually learned the material.
