Thank you for your feedback @ventana. Can you share what qualities/skills are needed to do the job well? What type and level of expertise do you think is important to do the job well? Thank you.
Is this type of work doable for a new grad? I have one year of experience as a urology PA, but I would feel almost like a new grad since urology is of course very different from disability assessment.
Or do you recommend I do primary care first before considering a job working for disability assessment? This would be a part time job, with the intent of working as side job in either occupational medicine or psychiatry.
Hello everyone,
I have an interview this week regarding a position in which I would be practicing primary care that involves traveling to patients homes. Unfortunately cannot find much information regarding people's experience in the field.
Can someone who works in this field share with me their experience, including the pros and cons? thank you
For personal reasons, I am considering taking a one year leave of absence a couple months before graduation. Does anybody have experience taking leave of absence during clinical year? If so, how hard was it to retain the information during that time so that you are able to transition back to clinicals and studying for exams?
