medic25
Probably lots of fun, but not much practical information for 99.9% of pa's in clinical practice. PA school doesn't leave a lot of time for fluff; is go with a more traditional rotation I'm a field you're interested in, then do a wilderness medicine CME course after you graduate. Moderator EMEDPA Posted March 29, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 29, 2013 Agree with M25 above. something like peds em or trauma surg would be a lot more high yield than a wilderness medicine elective in which you might just do training and not even treat any patients. remote medical has a bunch of great courses. I have my eye on remote medicine for the adv. provider. contrarian took it a few yrs ago and said it was a great course. http://www.remotemedical.com/wilderness-medicine-training/Remote-Medicine-for-the-Advanced-Provider-RMAP
