WMF elective

Recommended Posts

Probably lots of fun, but not much practical information for 99.9% of pa's in clinical practice. PA school doesn't leave a lot of time for fluff; is go with a more traditional rotation I'm a field you're interested in, then do a wilderness medicine CME course after you graduate.

Agree with M25 above. something like peds em or trauma surg would be a lot more high yield than a wilderness medicine elective in which you might just do training and not even treat any patients.

remote medical has a bunch of great courses.

I have my eye on remote medicine for the adv. provider.

contrarian took it a few yrs ago and said it was a great course.
