Post-bacc or masters?

Recommended Posts

I already have a bachelor's in science, but my major wasn't strictly biology so I am looking to go back to school to take courses such as ochem/microbiology/biochemistry, etc. I've heard that generally it's a better choice to just take classes as an undergraduate post-bacc, but I just got into a M.A. Biology: Health Professions specialization program at Baylor University and I'm not sure if I should go with that program.

A little bit more info about me: my undergraduate GPA wasn't the strongest, and it was only my last year where I started studying and picking up my grades (I received provost honors for a earning a 3.5+ gpa for a year, but my overall GPA is still awful). I want to re-take some general science courses also since I was still slacking academically when I took them.

I'm leaning more towards just post-bacc coursework, but wanted to know what other people thought about it!
