Nazma Posted March 2, 2013 Hello Everyone, My name is Nazma Akhter, and I am in my first year of PA school at Harlem Hospital CCNY Physician Assistant Program. I was given an assignment to find a 1990s alumni from North Carolina Physician Assistant to interview. We have to have to answer the following questions: Name of person being interviewed PA school attended Date graduated Current employment status and area of medicine they work in What attracted you to the PA program you attended? What did your training and coursework consist of? If you had to sum up your PA education experience in one word, what would it be? What does it mean to you to be an alumnus from the PA program you attended? What do you think about the PA profession? What advice do you have for current students? Please let me know me know if you can help, it's greatly appreciated! Thank you ^_^ Email: aknazma@gmail.com
SocialMedicine Posted March 2, 2013 sounds like a ridiculous assignment. tell your classmates not to post ads for every single school involved.
Moderator True Anomaly Posted March 2, 2013 Moderator It's only one school that I've seen listed. Agreed- ridiculous assignment
Nazma Posted March 2, 2013 Author Agreed it is, but I have to complete the assignment. I Don't know anyone PA Alumni from North Carolina. Have any suggestions?
mathwizard Posted March 2, 2013 I suggest dont post more than once on a site! That behavoir will get you removed from that site. Relax if someone meets the criteria they will respond dont keep posting over and over. Also maybe contact state PA groups or Schools directly instead of on here! You have posted under 2 different names so far. I believe that is against the terms of service agreement you read when you signed up?
Nazma Posted March 3, 2013 Author NO I have not. She is her own person. However, we are classmates. If you have a problem with her then I suggest you message her regarding your concerns and not me (Nazma) on my thread. Thank you.
Yacosta815 Posted March 3, 2013 I am one of Naz's & Pablo's classmates. I have also posted on the boards looking for a North Carolina alumni from the 90s. Did we choose to do this? Heck no!! This is an assignment. Whether you think it is a unique or a ridiculous assignment, that doesn't change the fact that we need to complete it. Go ahead & contact the school. I'm pretty sure that they will not be upset with us. In fact, I'm pretty sure that they will be glad that we thought outside of the box & reached out to a huge community of PAs to help us complete our assignments. Are you a PA? No, you are not. You are registered as a pre-PA which means that you are not even a PA student!! Stop messing with PA students trying to complete an assignment.
