Contrarian Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 Pfft... I used to work/interact with the "transplant coordinators" quite a bit when I was CCRN in Chicago. While they were usually "motivated" to harvest viable organs to insure that the recipients had the greatest chance of success, it was never "rushed" or coerced and never felt like they were preassuring the declaration of death. Whats odd is that this "whistle-blower" didn't merely report the allegations to the proper medical authorities... he went the route of bringing a suite to increase his chances of recouping money ...
