Interviews late in the cycle

Recommended Posts

If someone could shine light on my situation it would be so helpful. Last year I was put on the waitlist for a program that I interviewed for late in the cycle (January). This year I am interviewing for a program that has been doing interviews and had already accepted applicants since June. My interview is in September and I am concerned that I am interviewing after so many interviews have been done. Realistically, are my chances of getting accepted lower because I am interviewing so late? Note: they do admit on a rolling basis but I finished my application 1 week after they opened. Any insight would be helpful, I just want to manage my expectations on my upcoming interview.

Thanks in advance!
