akele7
Hi all, I am having some trouble with my physiology class. I understand the information but my professor just speaks a million miles a minute. Does anyone have any books or materials that can "Kiddie" talk me through physiology? Or make it "ridiculously simple." I know there are books out there but I wanted to see what you guys recommend. Thanks :)
lov2xlr8
Physiology: Board Review Series by Linda Costanza - exactly what you're looking for, makes things ridiculously simple. It's in outline form and hits the big points. I've found it really helpful thus far. It was recommended by a couple of the second years I was talking to. Got it on Amazon for 35 + shipping. Good luck.
sailordeac
There's actually a series called "Clinical...Made Ridiculously Simple." I think there's a pathophysiology and regular physiology book - a lot of people in my class like them.

jen0508
i had that problem with physiology.... i dont like reading so i recorded the lectures so i could listen to them and pause at times to take notes. the info presented in class was sufficient to understand the concepts.... worked out well for me. akele7
Thank you for all your ideas. I do have one of the made simple books for physiology. Jen0508 all of our lectures are recorded for us since we are a satellite school so I will also be listening back to those. :) Thanks everyone! Hemegroup
Physiology can be a very tough class. It's a difficult subject already, plus if you have a tough teacher that can really double the load. Go over it ad nauseum until you have all the concepts and processes down, and be sure to communicate regularly with your instructor/TA with any questions you might have.
