Mayamarang
Do PA schools care at all whether someone has a BA vs a BS in Biology?
ohiovolffemtp
Short version: no. All PA schools look at is whether you have had their required pre-reqs and what your overall and science GPA's are. My undergrad degree is in computer science. UGoLong has an engineering degree. One of my PA mentors undergrad degree is in information systems. Oh - we are also both paramedics, but still, it's the prereqs that matter. JD2012
Nope. I have a classmate that majored in theater. His PCE was as an EMT.
georgiav
I have a BA in Biology and no one ever mentioned it during the application cycle. Don't think it really matters, however BS in Biology generally requires more science units which may make you more competitive if you do well.
