jmj11
I don't know where to find the statistics, however, the percentage is tiny. When I owned my practice, I knew of only about 4-5 others in our state of 6,000 medical practices. There could have been others I didn't know about. So, less than 1%. SophiaG
I would love more info on how to be PA owned. Are you in NY. That’s my missing piece. Thanks in advance
May999
Hey Sophia - did you ever find more information on owning your own practice? I am in my clinical rotational year and as a prior entrepreneur am highly considering dropping out because I am afraid I will not be able to manifest my vision of my own practice. SophiaG
I have and almost done. It should be up and going within the year. In opening a practice I created another business just by default as part of the process. it is definitely feasible and very possible. Don’t drop out. There are options - you just have to have the right counsel and management.
