Administrator rev ronin Posted February 14, 2019 Administrator Share Posted February 14, 2019 I could have sworn I saw a post on HR 1052 here, but I can't find it. Am I going mad, or just conflating what I saw on Huddle and assuming we'd've also covered it here? Regardless, that bill would make PAs directly reimburseable by Medicare, which fixes (or starts to fix) a whole lot of billing issues. I called my congressman to support it today. narcan
It's now HR 5506 the Physician Assistant Direct Payment Act. If you don't know your local representative's information or don't want to have to draft your own letter of support, the AAPA has a website up: https://www.aapa.org/news-central/2018/04/legislation-introduced-authorize-direct-pay-pas-medicare/
