Annimint
At my university there are different English classes that students are required to take. Once of the classes is labeled as "Technical writing" and recommended for those going into research, science, and engineering. Is this appropriate and recommended for pre-pa students as well? Since I am a Biology major? Does it matter what english class PA schools look at?
jmj11
I think technical writing would be of benefit. Medical terminology would be much better as a subgroup. However, having written about 30 papers for journals (and participated in the writing of several others) the general technical writing would have some merit. BrainAndCo
I don't see how technical writing could hurt, unless you really just don't like writing. In that case, you are just torturing yourself. If you do enjoy it, there are plenty of opportunities for PA's with good writing skills in medical writing, publishing, and research.
