SCPA
Any of you all do drug talks for pharma? If so what kind of scratch can a PA expect for a typical dinner presentation?
lkth487
Not sure about a PA, but they offer about $1k-2k+ per talk to the physicians, depending on various factors.
camoman1234
I have went to my state chapter meetings monthly and there have been NPs/PAs/MDs/DOs all talk. Not sure about the payment, but I know APPs do talk for pharma.
dfw6er
Did a few talks back in my primary care days. $500 or so per talk was what I would get typically and these were with other APPs at a nice steak restaurant typically.
jmj11
At one time (late 1990s) I did a lot of pharma talks at $1500-2000/ hour rate. When I came to Washington state from Mayo Clinic, it dropped to about $1000 hr. I stopped doing them when the drug companies insisted that I use their promotional slides rather my own topics.
