Navjot
I’m a surgical PA for 16 years and currently thinking going into healthcare consulting part of it or maybe in administration. Does anybody knows what should I do to go into that field? I’m willing to go back to school for MBA or MHA degree! Thank you.
mmiller3
I have looking to get into administration as well. I received my MHA in 2016, and I am still looking. It is definitiely "who you know". There are fellowships for MHA graduates at local hospital systems here; that might be an option unless you already have an inside track. Be prepared to take a pay cut. Good luck.
camoman1234
Which do you guys think would "look" better, MHA or MBA? Or do you think it really matters? Just curious for possible future endeavors.

DizzyJ
I've been looking to get into admin for the past year and no luck. Finished a DHSc program last year. I'm considering applying for one of the admin fellowships to try to break through the door. There are so few admin positions for PAs and it sucks. Most postings I see require RN.
