chichamorada
I'm a current PA student conducting a survey about the role that a patient's race plays in medical decision-making. The survey results are anonymous, but I will be using the results for an informal school presentation. Your honest response would be greatly appreciated! It should take <10 min to complete: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QTQ3TML Thank you in advance :)
Boatswain2PA
We are all of the human race. That's all I care about.
mgriffiths
I was going to complete the survey as a student finishing school, but didn't... The color of a patient's skin only matters when there is scientific evidence to support that one medication may work better than another (such as a CCB in the african american population for HTN). Yes, it can be more difficult to identify some derm conditions on those with darker skin, but it can still be done - and if not, that is what dermatologists are for.
