Pre-PA student
Is it necessary to put the objective on the resume/CV? What to include when preparing for the resume/CV for Pre-pa? Any good sample out there?
cop to pa
https://nationalcareersservice.direct.gov.uk/advice/getajob/cvs/Pages/cvstudent.aspx Try this. It's british, but for students making CV.
MT2PA
I don't use objectives on my resume/CV since I'm usually applying for specific jobs and including cover letters. If you are blanket applying/mass sending resumes out to catch someone's eye, then I'd use an objective.
fflores98
Don't worry about the objective. As a recruiter I skim to the most important parts such as education, employment history and skills. When I'm getting candidates for a position I ask for a resume in the following template; education, employment history, volunteerism, military service (if applicable) and relevant skills/certifications. Use bullets to summarize each section rather than paragraphs. I literally spend less than a minute on a resume and I can only assume adcoms do the same with the high number of applicants.
