yadiyada
Hi guys! I've recently decided to apply for PA programs, and I would like to get a job that involves patient contact. I narrowed down my options to medical assistant, clinical research, and scribe. Can you give me some advice on which one out of the 3 involves the most patient contact and is most likely to be valued by the admission committee? Thanks! ChasingTheDream
Do you have a job description for the clinical research position?
optimistic3
Most schools want you to have experience where you are physically touching the patients so keep that in mind. Furthermore, if you have schools you're thinking about, look at their websites to see if they require that or not. Scribes have no direct contact but the MA probably would. You'll have to check about the clinical research job.
