your mother
I have the opportunity to volunteer at either a local hospital or planetarium. Ideally, I'd like to do both, but with classes, work, GRE studying, I will only be able to do one. Do you think either one would be more beneficial for a PA school application? Or doesn't it matter? FYI- I will have about 2000 paid HCE hours when I apply. Thanks!
cinntsp
While volunteering at a hospital is more applicable, my personal opinion is that you should go for the planetarium if you are already gaining paid HCE. The HCE already shows that you're familiar with that environment and volunteering at a planetarium can show that you also are interested in serving your community. winterallsummer
Hospital. This one is a no brainer. Unless you are really gung ho about the other one and want to do it for personal reasons... hospital is definitely best regarding PA school. your mother
Thanks guys, I am going to go forward with the hospital position. I thought this was a better choice, but just wanted to be sure.
