Dondoro88
Most programs require Bio, Chem, A&P and Micro I was wondering if certain prereqs are given more weight? I would assume A&P would be the most important but I'd like your opinions. In addition, are there certain classes that should be retaken if you got B/C grades? Administrator rev ronin Posted October 3, 2011 Administrator Share Posted October 3, 2011 Which prerequisites a program looks at more than others will vary from program to program. Having said that, in a fiercely competitive admissions environment, it is in your best interest to retake ANY prerequisite in which you were given a C, and most of them with a B as well. Other classes, not so much: since retaking just averages things in CASPA, if you have a C in an irrelevant field, you may well be better off earning an A in a medically-relevant course, vs. earning an A in a repeat of that irrelevant course.
