wowitschewy
Does anyone have any recommendations for an online medical terminology course? I know there's a lot out there, but I'm need to take it as a prereq for one of my schools I'm applying to and I was wondering if anyone has taken it online before. Thank you!! cinntsp
Do a search for "online classes add to the list" and you will find a thread with that name that has a ton of info in it. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

duchesskre
Im starting one Oct 3 from University of Phoenix online....its a little more expensive but it fit my time schedule and its fully accredited so for schools that dont accept community college courses this works well.... flyingsquirrel
I'm taking medical terminology online from the University of Alaska Southeast (3 credits). It's a great class if you know the material but just need a course credit. I spend 1-2 hours/week on the class and there are no mandatory class meetings. If I hadn't been working in healthcare for the past 7 years I might need to spend a little more time on the class.
c0untingstars
Washtenaw Community College - it is very cheap! http://www4.wccnet.edu/academicinfo/creditofferings/takingclasses/schedule/schedule.php?search_creditonly=1&search_distancelearning=
smspeeg
I took it through the University of Florida Distance Learning Program (http://www.distance.ufl.edu/Default.aspx) and would recommend it to anyone! The contact staff was excellent. I was able to complete the course in 10 days and submit the grade in time for a deadline.

Guest askyoulc
I took one online at Houston Community College. Don't remember the cost, but it wasn't bad. The prof didn't require much work either.
klairsee
Currently taking Medical Terminology through North Carolina State University. Not sure if it's offered every semester. It involves 5 proctored online exams, which could get expensive but I found a local community college willing to proctor for free. Good course. Basically follows a workbook but I'm learning a great deal.
