CAdamsPAC Posted August 16, 2011 A very interesting article that caused the bile to rise into my throat! This behavior rekindles some of the distain I hold for the upper echolons of the Department!!!!!!!!!! http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2015904336_madigan14.html Fire away.....please!
ToppDog Posted August 16, 2011 Anyone ever run up against command sanctioned dishonesty? Yes, but as an E-4 it didn't end any where near as good as it did for this doctor.
pawag Posted August 22, 2011 Wow! It's amazing what happens in some places. This probably happens more than we know.
Croooz Posted August 23, 2011 it happens all the time. Another form is to lie on the sole source justifications. As an Operations Chief I never, ever meet with any vendors. This is ALL TOO common problem, and the outcome is hardly ever favorable for the ethical person.
Contrarian Posted August 23, 2011 @ Crooz... Dude... where ya been hiding...?? As for the rest... Happens all the time. The Col. wasn't a saint... and actually sounds like a ridgid A$$hole who reported the activities of the folks who wouldn't let him into their club. It also sounds like he shirked a battalion surgeons slot for a cush job at command... and was then GIVEN a bronze star for showing up... as is normal. Go to the military medicine section of the sdn forum... you will see folks like him posting there regularly Even his picture looks "unapproachable" and standoff-ish... Nahhh... not impressed and no sympathy here.
Croooz Posted August 23, 2011 @ Crooz... Dude... where ya been hiding...?? :) I was locked away in seminary. Now I is back and the call of medicine is still present only stronger than ever since all I need is A&P. I was headed down the MD/DO route but after seminary and taking a boatload of personality exams it's clear that it's PA. MD/DO would be 100% ego for me. Maybe later....(says the 39 year old) lol

primadonna22274 Posted August 24, 2011 Missed you Croooz. Sorry military folks, very short hijack--I am in med school now at LECOM. One of my PA colleague/classmates is also a rabbi...but very humble about it. I had to drag it out of him. Good combo, you can heal the spirit and the body....
