sweetlew
I was involved in a lot of organizations throughout college and held various leadership positions. Where would I acknowledge this on my CASPA application? I wouldn't necessarily consider it to be volunteer work. Thanks all!
Kahnerr
Hey ajlew, I faced a similar conundrum. I was president of my campus PA Club in undergrad, which was a big influence on me and I wanted to note that, but there wasn't a good place to fit it on the CASPA. I put it under "achievements" on "supporting information". My supplemental apps tended to ask about leadership though, so that offered a good additional place for it. Hope this helps! Administrator rev ronin Posted June 20, 2015 Administrator Share Posted June 20, 2015 Consider that if there isn't a good place for you to fit something on CASPA, that might just be because a majority of programs don't care about it. While I realize leadership positions in college organizations may be the most leadership experience some applicants have, if there's no specific place for that on CASPA, it's not something the constituent schools are clamoring to collect from applicants.
