Scott1288
Would any of you recommend to list an expired EMT-Basic certification. It was earned in a state that I don't live in, so I let expire. I never could get a job with an EMT Basic - so I have no work experience from this - but shadowing the director of the Emergency department on Sundays about 6 times. I am not sure whether to list this under my certifications or not? Any opinions? Thank you
cop to pa
CASPA wants current certs, not expired ones. I've got a stack of BLS-IT/AF, ACLS-I, PHTLS-I, etc. that are expired. No reason for a school to care. You can talk about it in your personal statement or if it was a college course, be sure to list it under transcripts. You could list it in the narrative section when you enter the shadowing experience you did with it.
