Oakland132 Posted February 11, 2015 I just got picked up for Navy HSCP. Just curious if anyone knows when you get your commission. Reading through the instruction it seemed like you might get it after you graduate your program but before you finish ODS. Not really important I am just kind of wondering. I appreciate the help.
Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted February 11, 2015 Moderator It depends on what your recruiter thinks. Some have it wrong and think it's after you pass boards or something else, but I was commissioned about 10 mins after my graduation ceremony. You have to commission before ODS.
karebear12892 Posted October 26, 2015 So you don't actually commission when you find out if you're selected for the scholarship? My recruiter left me with the impression that I'd be commissioned by the time I start PA school.
